Before we start let's clarify what we are talking about. There are two ways to get a MegaPixel image. One option is to use Photoshop, Lightroom or Topaz Gigapixel Ai to increase the resolution to the larger size. Recently PhotoShop and Lightroom have added a new feature called Super Resolution that uses new algorithms to add the missing pixels. Topaz Ai as the name states uses Ai to increase the file size. We have used all of them and I prefer Topaz Ai. But again this is the process of ADDING pixels.

What we are talking about today is shooting a multi-shot photo to acquire a native MegaPixel image. This method does not add pixels, the image is captured with a zoom lens and multiple images are stitched together to create one very high resolution image.

A wall mural printed with a GigaPixel image will result in a very high detail compared to a standard resolution image. It will be sharper and more realistic.
